Ministries
Christian
Education…Every
new member will be required to complete a new members class
detailing the foundation of God’s plan for salvation and God’s
expectation of believers. The class four-hour class will be taught
every second Saturday as needed, and will emphasize the mission of
ACW; training disciples to develop a personal relationship with
Jesus. Bible study classes will include weekly sessions for adult,
with the goal of discipleship through increased knowledge of life
application of the Word of God.
ACW’s Bible
institute is for members and non-members who want to pursue a deeper
level of understanding in a target focus of study such as
evangelism, teaching, worship, and counseling. Students may earn a
certificate of study, an Associate of Arts or Bachelor of Arts
degree. All classes are a nominal fee of $40 per class for members

Evangelism
Ministry…ACW
visits targeted areas in the Prince Georges community to share the
love of Christ and provides prayer and encouragement every first
Sunday to patients and staff at Southern Maryland Hospital.
Worship
Ministry…The
worship ministry includes music, drama, dance, poetry and other
genres of the creative arts used to provide bible centered worship
for all services.***
Women’s Ministry…ACW’s
women ministry provides periodic teachings focused on healing,
transformation, and timely revelation with the goal of encouraging
spiritual maturity and greater commitment to operating in identified
spiritual gifts.
The Women’s
Ministry will also be encouraged to attend annual meetings of the
Women in Shared Ministry (WISM); a national organization purposed to
equip women to do the work of ministry.
Men’s Ministry…..
ACW’s men’s ministry provides periodic teachings focused on healing,

spiritual maturity and greater commitment to operating in identified
spiritual gifts.
Youth Ministry…The
youth ministry will include youth members as well as youth in the
community. Activities will include mentoring, tutoring and
bible-centered teachings targeted to youth. Youth church is held
every 2nd and 5th Sunday.
Children’s
Ministry…
The children’s
ministry includes bible-centered teaching, mentoring, tutoring and
discipleship of children ages 5-11. Children’s church meets every 3rd
Sunday.
