Scripture
I will walk
among you and be your God, and you will be my people.
(Leviticus 26:12—NIV)
Our Vision
Our vision is to
be a five-fold ministry church fostering teaching, healing and hope
by emphasizing victory in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Mission:
A Closer Walk
Christian Ministries is a non-denominational Christian church
committed to utilizing the gifts of the five fold ministry and other
spiritual gifts to bring hope to the community, the nation and the
world. Through bible focused sermons, trainings and worship,
services will use illustrations and the creative arts to emphasize
the importance of an intimate and personal relationship with Jesus.

What We Believe:
|
 |
We
believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible,
authoritative Word of God. |
|
 |
We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three
persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. |
|
 |
We believe in the deity of Jesus of Nazareth, in His virgin
birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious
and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily
resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father,
and in His personal return in power and glory. |
|
 |
We believe that for salvation of the lost and sinful man,
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
|
|
 |
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose
indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
|
|
 |
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost:
those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who
are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. |
|
 |
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus
Christ. |
|
 |
We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ who will
reward everyone according to His gospel. |
As the members
actively accept and pursue a relationship with Christ, lives will be
transformed and salvation will be put into action for the glory and
advancement of the kingdom of God. Members are encouraged to serve
in a ministry according to the spiritual gift the Lord has purposed
with the support and discernment of the pastor.
We are committed
to evangelism and active outreach projects particularly in the areas
of counseling, education, health, life skills, transition following
incarceration, parenting skills,, and missions.
