Church Community Coalition—C3
Who Are
We?
The Church Community Coalition (C3) is
a non-profit organization of spirit-filled church and community
organizers purposed to coordinate and lead initiatives to foster
positive change (based on biblical principles) in urban
communities.
What Do We
Do?
C3 responds to community needs through mentoring, training,
organizing evangelistic outreach events and providing needed
resources through referrals and practical assistance.
Vision:
To organize and unify local churches and community
organizations for the purpose of transforming lives by winning the
community for Christ.
Mission:
Using a three tiered approach of win the people,
train the people, and help the people, there will
be a radical transformation of unsaved souls leading to a measurable
reduction in crime, decrease in disease resulting from poor
choices, fewer out of wedlock pregnancies, greater student
achievement, and healing and restoration of individuals and
families.
Objectives:
- Develop and
implement para-church evangelism teams with a strategy to witness
in targeted areas (high crime neighborhoods, housing developments,
community centers, parks/basketball courts, Laundromats, etc)
- Create a team of
strong male mentors to provide one on one mentoring to boys in (1)
high school, (2) middle school (3) elementary school
- Develop and
implement para-church discipleship teams to teach biblical
principles and mentor new converts with an emphasis on life
application.
- Create a team of
strong female mentors to provide one on one mentoring for (1) high
school students (2) middle school students, (3) elementary school
students
- To partner with
schools, social service agencies and community leaders in
providing practical resources to those in need.
